advances in equipment so that your visit will be the utmost in comfort and

Some of the equipment which will aid us
during your visit is:
CEREC

The name for this machine is an acronym
which stands for
Chair-side
Economical
Restorations of
Esthetic
Ceramic.
Chair-side means that Dr. Williams or
Scott can provide the treatment (crown, only, inlay or veneer) in one
patient visit, while ceramic refers to the final product, a non-metallic
restoration which is bonded to the existing or remaining tooth structure.
Ceramic restorations are similar in hardness to the natural tooth, and also
resemble more closely your natural tooth color than conventional gold and
silver restorations. CEREC restorations are extremely durable and natural
looking. The beauty of ceramic restorations is seen in the before and after
photographs below.

DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
Using
this computerized imaging system that utilizes an
electronic sensor instead of X-ray film, Dr. Williams or Scott can provide
diagnostic images that use up to 90% less radiation than conventional
X-rays. The sensors produce sharp and clear images that appear almost
instantly on a computer screen nest to your chair so we can discuss the
findings together.
INTRAORAL CAMERAS
In many
cases patients do not see the urgency in performing critical treatment or
fully understand the necessity or value of treatment because they simply
lack the perspective of the doctor. Dr. Williams or Scott help to overcome
by applying the time tested saying "A picture is worth a thousand words". By
including our intraoral camera in your diagnostic and treatment process the
doctors are able to keep you fully informed regarding your treatment so that
you fully understand what the needs and results are.
